“Water under the bridge” is an Western idiom to express that something has been passed and we should let it go. It is not important anymore.

I really like this image of the idiom. Water under the bridge is the running water. It was there and went to rivers, then went to the ocean. When you stand on the bridge, you can see the water flowing, bringing all things inside it going. The water does not hold on things, but let it be and let it go.
In light of this understanding, let’s think about our lives…
We can say that idiom to someone just make a mistake or situations were out of control. Obviously, we can see that we cannot do anything to fix or change the past. Hence, it is better to advise someone to let it go and start again!
That’s such the greatest piece of advice ever for the others!
And do you know that it is also the greatest one for ourselves.
Do you hold on to something that happened a long time ago, such as suffering, anger, hatred, greed, or vengeance?
Do you hold on to people who betrayed you, lied to you, hated you, envied you, took away our chance, looked down on you, insulted you, humiliated you, ect.
I remember a quote: “To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.” (Lewis B. Smedes)
Dear friends, it is time to take back your peace by letting it go! Anything is holding you back. Let it go and To be, to live and to enjoy life!
With love,
