Are you low on Vitamin W, I or D?
It is interesting to listen to Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar about how to deal with a toxic family member with negative remarks and judging all the time?
The way he looks at it is amazing, positive and wise.
First of all, remove the label TOXIC!
Because if someone is sick at home, would you blame them?
What do you do?
YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM!
Toxicity is another sickness only. Those who are toxic never got an opportunity, they had different backgrounds, or they lacked understanding, ignorance, no spiritual knowledge.
This perspective opens the door of understanding and sympathy. Instead of blaming them, we can ask gently why they behaved like that, why they got angry. Listen to their stories and respect their time to grow and rise.
Second, vitamins deficiencies. Our body needs vitamins to grow healthy, so our soul likewise. Please take a few seconds to think about what vitamins we or they are lacking and need to add more.
Vitamin W- (Wisdom) deficiency: lacking the ability to understand life profoundly, to withdraw meaningful lessons and apply to reality.
Vitamin I – (Intelligent) deficiency: lacking the ability to realise what should or should not do or behave to make a better family and community.
Vitamin D (Divinity) deficiency: lacking the ability to transcend the physical world to see values of spirituality, the power of Love, Forgiveness and Giving.
In summary, do not label others as the toxic ones, but understand the sickness named Toxicity and look after it. Then, add more vitamins W, I and D for ourselves and others in order to make a better place for all. The place is full of love, understanding, forgiveness and joy!
