We celebrate the life of a person is about to attend his/her funeral. It the time we take time to look back their whole life as a picture with all events and their way of thinking, behaving and living. We look at their legacies…
First and formost, the legacy of their existence. Each life on earth is there for a reason. It took quite long time for the one and others learn anout that lesson. Indeed, a life of a person is valuable and precious. The one came to life with as a naked baby and we love that baby with his/her simpilcity and innocence.
Next, they way they accepted this life is another legacy. It can be seen life is not a calm sea all the time, but there are many storms, thunders, typhons, and cyclones. We are invited to learn to accept and embrace that life.
Last but not least, we can see their faith in the whole picture. Faith is understood by a bigger perspective, not focusing on any specific religion. In other words, we can witness how Grace could transform a human being to gain more hope, kindness, and love. Furthermore, it is also the way human beings could keep in touch with the Creator and living with others like brother and sister in a common home.
Today is the day I say goodbye to a hero who is going back to the Father’s house. I admire his life and his last massage in the end of his life:
“YOUR KINGDOM, NOT MY KINGDOM
YOUR WILL, NOT MY WILL”
