“The glory of God is the human person most fully alive.”
– St. Irenaeus –

This quote really resonated with me because it reflects what I am practising at the moment. Every moment is the present of life which God is granting upon me. Indeed, the mystery of life is more open for those who are finding authentic meanings and purpose and seeing life in a grateful attitude. To live fully is also to be liberated from fears and dread to be in love and freedom. In other words, be fully alive is to reflect God’s glory on earth.

However, I also see the obstacle of this way of living which is likely the comfort zone. In other words, it is always more comfortable to feel and play safe in a solid shield of security. However, to stay too long in the comfort zone is likely to nourish my selfishness. Thus, let us be more aware of the comfort zone, be courageous to be an attentive ear, a word of support, a forgiving embrace, a firm helping hand, a tender smile; and take risks to grow and thrive through difficulties.

Let’s glorify God in our courageous life!

With love,
