The art of nurturing oneself is crucial, but unfortunately, it is not often taught in schools, universities, and families. The word “nurture” means: “to care for and protect somebody/something while they are growing and developing” (Oxford Dictionary). Hence, to nurture oneself is to care for and protect oneself while one is growing and developing.

How do you care and protect yourself daily, monthly, annually?
What do you understand “yourself” and know “yourself”?
What are the “yourself”‘s need, like, love, fear?

Perhaps, we will not really know to nurture ourselves until we allow ourselves to stop, and in that stop, we go deeper inside, listen to the body, mind and soul; then, ask yourself:
Are you tired?
Are you exhausted?
Are you angry?
Are you jealous?

Just stop more often and do self-reflection. It can be a good habit to nurture oneself.

With love,
