A young layman was climbing a cliff when suddenly he slipped. He grabbed a branch and hung there. He couldn’t pull himself up and was becoming exhausted. Finally he looked up to the heavens and cried out: “God, help me; please, help me.”
Suddenly the clouds parted and a deep voice resounded, “Let go!” The young man paused, looked around, and then he looked up at heaven once more and said: “Is anyone else up there?” :))
