You cannot heal the wounds of those you love.

You can’t take their pain away or make decisions that would ease their suffering. Despite your best intentions, the responsibility for their healing and choices lies with them. The path they walk, no matter how difficult, is theirs to navigate.

However, what you can do is offer your unwavering presence. You can ensure they know they are not alone in their struggles. You can share the wisdom and experiences you’ve gained along your own journey, guiding them with your insight. But at the end of the day, it’s their own journey to take, their own growth to achieve.

Consider a family member dealing with addiction. As much as you might want to step in and solve their problems, you can’t choose their path for them. You can’t make them change or force them to seek help. But you can be there for them, offering support when they’re ready to make that decision for themselves. You can provide them with resources and advice, but their healing process is a personal journey they must undertake on their own terms.

And one more important thing you can do and should do is TO PRAY WITH THEM and offer them into God’s hand.

Be with them physically and spiritually!

With love,
