Living or Merely Surviving?

At first glance, the question seems simple. But the deeper we reflect on the mystery of life, the more it urges us to think beyond the surface.

Consider this:
We wake up each morning, take the same route to work, see the same faces, exchange the same words, and carry out the same duties. “I must work to make a living,” we tell ourselves. The days pass, weeks slip away—time flies. Yet, somewhere along the way, life starts to feel dull, monotonous, almost like a fading echo.

And so, we pause and ask: Where am I in all this? Who am I? Am I truly living, or merely existing?

Do you still feel your heart beat with passion, with love?
Do you know what truly makes you smile? What brings you to tears?
Do you love your work—not just for survival, but for its meaning?
Are you still chasing your dreams, or have they become distant memories?
Are you growing—not just in years, but in spirit?
Are you aware of each breath you take?

Living is not just about earning a salary, eating when hungry, or sleeping just to wake up and repeat. True living is waking up with gratitude, feeling the miracle of breath, cherishing the safety of home, the warmth of family, the simple gift of food and shelter. It is seeing a tree not just as an object, but as a friend, a life-giver. It is embracing every moment—both the joys and the struggles—as part of the grand design of existence. It is discovering the presence of the Divine, in your heart, in others, in the beauty of creation.

Dear friend,
Are you still waiting for a miracle to start living?
Close your eyes. Inhale. Exhale. Feel the rhythm of life flowing through you.
That breath, that moment—isn’t it a miracle already?

Have a blessed day!
With love,
