“When I stay, it is just a place of land,
When I leave, the land has become a part of my heart.”
I tried to translate this poetic idea of Che Lan Vien, Vietnamese poet. As I prepare to say goodbye to this incredible country, my heart is filled with a deep sense of gratitude and love. The journey here has been nothing short of transformative. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to receive excellent training, grow through many challenges, and experience the grace of God in ways I never could have imagined.
Throughout 10 years here, I’ve met so many remarkable people who have supported me in countless ways. Their kindness, generosity, and unwavering support have made all the difference in my journey. I carry these memories with me, knowing that they will forever be a part of my story.
As I move forward, I hold this land and its people close to my heart. It’s a place that has shaped me, challenged me, and helped me become who I am today. I leave with a full heart and a spirit full of hope, praying that the country continues to thrive, and that the kindness I’ve witnessed here multiplies in the days to come.
May God’s blessings continue to be upon this land, its people, and everyone who calls it home. I will always cherish my time here and hold it as a precious chapter in my life’s journey. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for everything.
