“Airports have seen more sincere hugs and kisses than wedding halls.
Hospitals have heard more prayers than places of worship.
Graveyards have heard whispered regrets than any love letter ever written.
Empty rooms have heard more secrets than any trusted friend.
Dead people receive more flowers than the living ones.
Because love, regret and hope are always felt most in their absence.
Do not wait until it’s too late to express what truly matters.

We realize what matters only when it’s gone — or nearly slipping away.

But why must we wait?

Let love be loud in the present.
Not just in words spoken, but in the time we give, the presence we offer, the kindness we show when no one is watching. Hug a little longer. Listen without distraction. Forgive without pride. Choose softness when the world calls for hardness.

Give the flowers now.
Make time now.
Say it — and live it — while the heart across from you is still beating.

Because ‘too late’ is a heavy silence, no apology can fill.

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”
1 John 3:18

Let us pray:
Lord, teach us to love not just with words, but with presence.
Let my hands give, my heart forgive, and my time reflect what truly matters.
Help me to speak kindness while it can still be heard,
to offer comfort while arms are still open,
and to cherish life while it is still before me.
May I never wait for absence to reveal the value of what I had.
Let me love now — fully, freely, and faithfully.
Amen.

With love,
