How can we learn to be truly grateful?
We always seem to see what we lack rather than what we already have…

The problem may be not how much we have but how we choose to see our lives!
A heart that is grateful can always find a reason to give thanks.

In the Bible, once Jesus healed 10 men of leprosy. The joy of being healed overwhelmed most of them and only one, the one who was truly grateful came back to kneel and thanked Jesus. It can be seen that gratitude is more than just saying thank you. It is true recognition of the GRACE GOD GIVES US.

We need to start paying attention to all the wonderful things God has done for us. Gratitude will change our hearts. It will help us to look at life with joy even on difficult days and remember this: When we give thanks for what we have even the small things, our hearts will be filled with a peace and happiness which the world cannot give.

Let’s learn to cherish and appreciate every blessing God gives us. This should be a beautiful decision. Even times of darkness can draw us closer to God, helping us see God’s love in every detail of our lives. And never forget a grateful heart will always find joy because it has learned to see life through God’s eyes.

Jesus, I thank you for the blessing of the rain today!

With love,
